Your friendship is a special gift

A lifetime it will last

Look to the future now and never to the past

New people you will meet, and many things you will do

But never forget me, because I"ll never forget you.

Happiness Is Not Comforts


‘Does Happiness depend upon comfort? ’

Happiness lies in not comforts alone!

Happiness is not a static quality of the human mind, body and soul.



All can’t remain happy all the time.

It would be foolishness to wish for a life, filled with happiness alone;

Happiness is more when woes come in-between.

Happiness is just a feeling weird!



Life could become boring and monotonous, when happiness is prolonged.

Even the beggar smiles and sleeps well, despite much strife.

Happiness is something strange that varies with time, experience and wisdom.

I believe that good things come to those who wait

Money can"t buy people"s affection

You don"t know what you"ve got until it"s gone

Every experience teaches us a lesson

" ONE PARAGRAPH THAT EXPLAINS LIFE!

Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he Got
due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.
From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which  conveyed:
"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?
To this Arthur Ashe replied:
The world over -- 5 crore children start playing tennis,
50 lakh learn to play tennis,
5 lakh learn professional tennis,
50,000 come to the circuit,
5000 reach the grand slam,
50 reach  Wimbledon,
4 to semi final,
2 to the finals,
When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD
"Why me?".
And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"
"Happiness keeps u Sweet,
Trials keep u Strong,
Sorrow keeps u Human,
Failure Keeps u Humble,
Success keeps u Glowing,
But only God Keeps u
Going.....

 Everyone needs
Companionship and cheer,
 People need someone
Whose thoughts are always near.

They need someone kind
To lend a helping hand.
Someone to gladly take the time
To care and understand.

We all need someone
To share each happy day,
To be a source of courage
When troubles come our way.

Someone to be true to us,
Whether near or far apart.
Someone whose love we'll always
Hold and treasure in our hearts.

When you live life it must be rough, that's when you must get tough.
But when you flow through your daily dilemmas, you got to give yourself time to think, should you make a new beginning. This is something only time can tell. You might not always show how you feel about emotions it is one thing love may show. But when things go terrible wrong that is when time has shown and God is telling you that it is time to start a new afterlife in a new way instead of the old. As the thought comes through you must be strong and think things through, as do all the angels that think it is true. So if it is goodbye you just have to cry , but you have to give it a try to tell if it is the real meaning of what lies beneath all of your life. In the end it shall be all be true as to all that do, then all the message shall come true, that is the true meaning of life and love. But all as well shall end well as for something that is not to be set on sail. Eventually, you will seek revenge for what is lost and much more that is to tell, but it will take time to heal everything that was forgotten. If it all end up queer hell shall be to blame, as heaven shall be there to try and fix all the broken dreams and all of the shame that has came. That is when the omen has shone. This is what separates the joy of life from the failure of love. As you go on you live and you learn. Eventually you will find out life is very precious in your own special way.

 What is death? Is it the ‘end’ or a beginning?

I like my friend’s way of living with enthusiasm and happiness. I have always seen her with a smiley face in spite of what goes on around her. Last weekend I had a bit of my down side. I heard about an accident that killed 4 people. This news triggered my thoughts on death. I felt like discussing with someone who can give me some insight on this ‘dark’ side.

When I met my friend last weekend, she was all smiling. I asked her, “what is the secret of your smile and happiness? How do you manage to be happy always?”. She asked me back, “Do I need a reason to be happy? Happiness is inside me and I access it whenever I want.” That was quite an intriguing answer, I thought.

I said, “Well, I am feeling down today. I heard about an accident that took away lives. I would like to hear about your view on death” She said, “Ok. First of all let me tell you what is my view on life. I see life as a journey between ‘birth’ and ‘death’. When we are born our mind is clear and simple. Life looks simple too. Our needs are very few. We are happy. Slowly we start to accumulate information some of which turns into labels. This ‘I’ becomes partitioned into many labels like doctor, mother or father etc. Based on the attachments we create to these labels, our mind stumbles in the past. Just observe how much of your attention is in the ‘now’.

Death frees us from all these labels. Because of our attachment to these, we have the fear of losing them. That is why fear of death. If we can practice freeing ourselves from the labels before death, death won’t be painful rather pleasant.”

She smiled at me. I asked her, “Do you mean we should not have any relationship with anyone and live like a sanyasi?”

She said, “No. Not at all. Relationship is different from bondage. Having a relationship is ok, but bondage is painful. Even if I have many labels, I don’t have to become attached to any. Even if we don’t want death is the truth that frees us from all these labels. One needs to learn how to be free from the bondages the labels have created. Die alive! Die to our past! Not to revise the past unnecessarily. What do you gain by revisiting your past all the time?”

 Although these are all words but I could read within her lines, the intension or the message it carried. Free from labels! Die alive! Die to the past! These three sentences are still lingering in my ears.
